Bobby Khan was born in the city of Lucknow in 1970. He did well in school and was always interested in the entertainment industry. Bobby Khan finished his education at Lucknow Primary School.

He then enrolled at Lucknow University to pursue his Ph.D. in literature. Then he moved to Los Angeles to study filmmaking at the New York Film School, a prestigious university.

Professional Career

Initially, he struggled greatly in the Bollywood industry, receiving no opportunities. Then, thanks to his connections, he got a job as an assistant to popular film director Muzaffar Ali on the film ‘Umrao Jaan.’ Bobby Khan directed his first Bollywood film, Shadow, in 2009. The plot of this film revolved around a common blind man who rose to fame and prominence. However, Bobby’s film did not perform well.

He then dabbled in screenwriting and dialogue writing. He has written dialogues for several films, including Cigarette Ki Tarah, Ek Tera Saat, Awwal Gulookaar, and Direct Ishq. ‘Do Dilon Ke Khel Mein’ was a film in which he wrote dialogues that were seen by a large number of people.

Bobby Khan directed his drama-thriller film, ‘Ek Paheli Leela,’ in 2015. This drama film starred Jas Arora, Jay Bhanushali, Mohit Ahlawat, Rahul Dev, and Sunny Leone. This film did quite well at the box office, earning 243 million, which roughly translates to US$3.5 million!

Bobby Khan Dating Life (Relationship)

His real brother is Ahmed Khan, a popular choreographer in the Bollywood film industry. Bobby Khan and Sunidhi Chauhan fell in love while directing the superhit song Pehla Nasha. Bobby directed this popular music video alongside Sunidhi, a well-known playback singer.

Their love for each other blossomed, and they were in a long-term relationship. Sunidhi’s parents, however, did not approve of her marriage to Bobby Khan. But this couple was madly in love with each other and had made up their minds to marry.

Sunidhi Chauhan and Bobby Khan married in 2002, but Sunidhi’s family opposed the marriage and disowned her. Bobby and Sunidhi’s relationship, however, did not last long, and they divorced just one year later. Sunidhi was disappointed, and she believes she should have listened to her parents.
