Brandon Blackstock

Do you know Who is Brandon Blackstock?

Brandon Blackstock was born on December 16, 1976, in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. He is a talent manager and businessman, but he is perhaps best known as the husband of the first “American Idol” winner, Kelly Clarkson. His wife is well-known in the music industry for her successful career following her stint in a reality singing competition.

Early Life

Brandon is the son of television producer and music talent manager Narvel Blackstock, as well as the son of former model Elisa Gayle Ritter. He was raised by two older sisters and a half-brother who went on to become a race car driver.

His parents were married for 15 years before divorcing in 1988. In 1989, his father married famed country singer Reba McEntire, and he gained another half-sibling as a result of that marriage. Aside from familial ties, little is known about Brandon, as little is revealed about anything else. Except for the fact that he earned a degree, little is known about his education.

Career

He also appeared to follow in his father’s footsteps, becoming an independent talent manager, which led to numerous connections and his eventual meeting with Clarkson. He would later make headlines for creating a replica of novelist Jane Austen’s ring after the British government placed an export ban on the object, despite Clarkson purchasing it at an auction.

Net Worth

Brandon Blackstock’s net worth is unknown. Sources estimate his net worth to be more than $5 million as of mid-2019, earned through success in his various endeavors.

Relationship Status

Brandon’s first marriage was to Melissa Ashworth many years before he met Clarkson, according to his personal life. The couple married in a private ceremony and had two children before splitting up in 2012.

He began dating Kelly Clarkson the same year; the two met because Clarkson was previously managed by his father. They married a year later at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee, where he has worked as her manager ever since, and they have two children. The family has a home in Los Angeles, California, as well as one in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Clarkson has stated openly that she is a Christian, and her husband is likely to share her beliefs.

Social Media

Unlike most famous singers’ spouses, he has an online presence through social media accounts, particularly on Twitter, where he has over 17,000 followers; this may be due to the nature of his work as his wife’s talent manager. He uses the platform to share her thoughts while also keeping up with the music scene, though he does not actively post. He is a huge fan of his wife’s performances and even surprised her in 2019 by joining her on stage to play the guitar.
