Catherine Bell was born on August 14, 1968, and her full name is Catherine Lisa Bell. Her parents’ names are Peter and Mina Ezzati, and she was born in London. Her father is from Scotland, and her mother is from Iran. Furthermore, her father worked as an architect for an oil company in Iran, and her mother had gone to London to study nursing.

When Catherine was two years old, her parents divorced. She was raised by her mother and maternal grandparents. After her family relocated to California’s San Fernando Valley, Catherine was exposed to a variety of influences.

Catherine’s family spoke Persian at home, and her grandparents were Muslims, but she was also exposed to Catholicism and went to a Baptist summer camp. Catherine was influenced by her surroundings in California during her adolescence.
