Dareh was born on March 24, 1970, in Austin, Texas, USA, the youngest of three sons of Clare Russell and Vartan Gregorian, under the zodiac sign of Aries, and apart from being of American nationality, he is also of Armenian descent from his father side. His mother, the chairwoman of Literary Partners adult education school, reared him with two older brothers named Vahé and Raffi. In 2018, she passed away.
