Daymond John’s sorrowful days are behind him.
After being blinded by the success of his billion-dollar brand, FUBU, Shark Tank entrepreneur Daymond John lost his first wife and his bond with his first two daughters. His family drifted away from him as he made more money.
He altered his lifestyle and had a happy married life with his second wife and third daughter, despite his lateness.
The First Wife’s Divorce Was Caused By Ignorance
John is the father of two girls, Yasmeen and Destiny, from a previous marriage. Before the success of his company, FUBU, their connection lasted.
However, as his career progressed, he began to lose touch with reality. He became an absentee father and husband, spending much of his time away from his family. Six months of the year, he’d be on business and the other six, he’d party with his friends. His relationship with his wife and children deteriorated as a result of his infrequent visits.
At Forefront, he even admitted that his wife saw him more on TV than in person. While he was appearing in ads and parties, his wife’s life became more difficult.
Despite being injured, she was treated with contempt by her neighbors and mocked for being wealthy and out of touch with the community.
A breakup with his little girls was the final nail in his marriage’s demise. His wife couldn’t handle the disparity and divorced him.
For the sake of his daughters, he has improved himself
Despite the fact that his ex-wife dissolved their relationship, she provided John with an opportunity to demonstrate his commitment to his daughters. She struck an unbreakable agreement with him: if he started contributing back to the community, he wouldn’t lose his daughters entirely. He began his “improvement” by teaching others what he knew about the business world. He has been active with a number of organizations and initiatives aimed at improving the neighborhood since the early 2010s.
His wife respected the deal they had made after he reintegrated into the community. He is now on good terms with his two daughters and constantly talks about them on social media.
John’s Current Relationship
John’s life blossomed after he realized the importance of money in comparison to money. Heather Taras, his present wife, was the first woman he met.
Minka Jagger John, their first and John’s third daughter, was born on March 2, 2016. On September 22, 2016, six months after their daughter’s birth, Daymond proposed to Heather while recording an episode of Shark Tank.
On June 2, 2018, they hitched the knot in Santorini, Greece. Both the husband and wife have Instagram accounts where they post images of them having fun on various occasions.
