Diane Neal is an American actress who is best known for playing Casey Novak on the American police procedural-legal criminal drama television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 2003 to 2008 and again from 2011 to 2012.
Early childhood development and education
Diane Neal was born in Alexandria, Virginia, on November 17, 1976. Neal is a White American who is also a citizen of the United States. Neal was born to Colleen Neal, a math teacher, and Christopher Neal, a federal attorney. She is the youngest of three siblings, with two sisters named Leigh and Erin. Neal’s family relocated to Littleton, Colorado, when her father was promoted to the position of federal attorney in Denver.
Neal had always desired to attend an Ivy League school, but her parents compelled her to attend the same school like her brothers. Daine Neal took a six-week acting course at Atlantic Acting School. She also enrolled at Harvard University, where she pursued a pre-medical degree.
Neal has been modeling since she was 18 years old, in 1994. She worked as a model for a number of magazines and ad agencies at the time. Her first major role as an actress was as Vanessa in the 2001 YV film Ed. In the same year, Neal appeared in an episode of the TV film Fling as Prudence Fisher.
Diane Neal made her big-screen debut in Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, where she voiced Cleopatra (2002). She also played Elizabeth Blaine in the short film Dracula II: Ascension 2003. Neal has also appeared in films such as Mr. Jones, Dirty Movie, Santorini Blue, and Newlyweeds.
Private life
In 2005, Diane Neal married Marcus Fitzgerald, an Irish actor. Before marrying, the pair dated for ten years. They did, however, divorce in 2014. Neal has never had children, either with Marcus or outside of marriage. Daine Neal has Auburn hair and a deep, husky voice. She also has a sporty demeanor and is a dog enthusiast. To the best of our knowledge, she does not have a boyfriend at the moment.
