Eddy Anthony Curry Jr., born December 5, 1982, is an American retired professional basketball player best remembered for his time with the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Miami Heat, and Dallas Mavericks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early Life

Curry was born in Harvey, Illinois, to Gayle and Eddy Curry Sr. He has two sisters, Nicole and Beth, as well as a brother named Jason.
