Bryson Lashun Potts, alias NLE Choppa, has so many tattoos on his body that he can’t keep track of them all. Even so, each tattoo on the rapper’s body has a meaning for him.

Shotta Flow has his own tattoo artist who tattoos him and produces body art devoted to his loved ones and family.

Continue reading to learn more about the rapper’s tattoos, their hidden meanings, and sources of inspiration.

NLE Choppa and His Tattoo Addiction

NLE Choppa has a number of lovely and intriguing tattoos on his body that are both personal and professional in nature. While some of the designs are based on family values, others highlight his professional achievements.

The skilled artist declared that no matter how many body ink drawings he gets on his body, he will never let the needle touch his face.

He has tattoos for his grandfather, father, mother, and even brother. NLE Choppa also has a tattoo on his right forearm that reads “Cottonwood” to reflect his hometown, which has two shattered hearts instead of a double “OO” in the wood.

Choppa revealed in an interview with GQ about his tattoos that he has wanted to be inked since he was a child.

“So I just pretty much knew like a lot of the tattoos I was gonna get, was gonna mean something to me. I told my momma when I was like five years old, I told her when I get older, I wanna have a lot of the tattoos and a grill.”

The rapper also has a “TOP SHOTTA” tattoo on his stomach, which has two handguns on each sides of the word, which he acquired to commemorate the success of his certified platinum song “Shotta Flow.” He also has tattoos of influential people such as Bob Marley, Tupac Shakur, and Al Pacino.

The One and Only Man Responsible for His Meaningful Tattoo

NLE Choppa, a self-proclaimed tattoo aficionado, revealed that he has a specific tattoo artist who has tatted the majority of his body ink. Dennis Estrada, co-owner of Wrist Tattoo Work, was the mastermind behind his profound tattoos. The tattoo artist posted a video on his Instagram account showing off his incredible work on NLE Choppa.

According to the rapper, his tattoo artist would travel two hours to meet him and was always available.

When asked which of his tattoos he preferred, the rapper firmly stated that his favorite was a newer one on his neck. The tattoo, which was also done by his tattoo pal Estrada, says “NLE” in strong letters, which stands for NO LOVE ENTERTAINMENT, his brand name, and his label.

The neck tattoo took him “an hour and thirty minutes, possibly two hours” to complete, he said. NLE Choppa wanted his tattoo to be big and clear, so he chose a bold font that would stand out and draw attention to his tattoo.

NLE Choppa’s Tattoos Have Been Covered Up

NLE Choppa had the names of his ex-partners tattooed on him in addition to ink dedicated to his family members. His ex-name, girlfriend’s “Mariah,” was tattooed on his neck.

Following their breakup, it appears that the young rapper had his “Mariah” tattoo changed. The “Mariah” tattoo was missing from his GQ interview when he revealed all of his body art, maybe because it was covered up by another neck tattoo of a rose flower.

Behind his right ear, he has a “Angels” neck tattoo. Angels, he believed, were watching over him and guiding him in the correct direction.

Before splitting up in November 2019, the couple was inseparable and took their love very seriously. To demonstrate their love for one another, the couple got matching tattoos. Only two years ago, the Memphis rapper got “Mariah” tattooed on his arm.

While the rapper had his ex-name girlfriend’s tattooed on the back of his neck, Mariah went a step further and had the rapper’s face tattooed on her back.

Furthermore, the two ex-girlfriends had a beautiful baby girl named Clover Brylie Potts.

One of his sleeves, on the other hand, has yet to be pierced by a needle. Will he get a tattoo of his daughter’s name or face on his hands? We’ll have to wait to learn more about his future tattoo.
