Despite his celebrity as an entertainer, many people are ignorant of Teller’s personal life. Did you know he’s also been accused of being gay?

His Personal Life

His father, Joseph Teller, was of Russian Jewish descent, and his mother, Irene B. Derrickson, was a Delaware Methodist farmer.

Teller is devoted to his family, as evidenced by his touching memoir ‘When I’m Dead, All This Will Be Yours,’ which is dedicated to his parents and chronicles their love for one another.

The Huge Wealth of Teller

In 1981, the two began performing together. They’ve shown off their mystical abilities on a number of high-profile platforms, including the Emmy Awards and Saturday Night Live.

The 1989 film Penn & Teller Get Killed and the magic competition television show Penn & Teller: Fool Us are two of their most well-known works.

As a result of all of this, the 73-year-old magician now has a net worth of $200 million. Jillette, his companion in crime, has an equal net worth, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

In April 2018, Teller appeared as a married guy in a guest role on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory as a spouse. He teamed up with Kathy Bates, an American actress. One of the main characters, Amy Farrah Fowler, was raised by the on-screen couple.

Gay rumors about a coworker

When it comes to his personal life, Teller has been exceedingly quiet. So far throughout his long career, the magician has rarely been spotted with a female companion, such as a girlfriend or an alleged wife.

In this way, his sexual orientation has been questioned numerous times. One of the most popular rumors was that Jillette, his business partner, was also his gay companion.
Because of their professional proximity, the two were considered gay partners.

However, the rumors are completely incorrect and unfounded, as Jillette is a happily married guy with children. Since November 2004, he has been married to Emily Zolten Jillette.
