Jeffree’s father died when he was young, and he was raised solely by his mother, who was extremely busy as a model and was frequently away on assignments. He became obsessed with his mother’s make-up and convinced her that he should start wearing makeup while in high school. After graduating, he relocated to Los Angeles in search of career opportunities, where he worked in music, modeling, and make-up.
