Jeffrey Toobin was born to a Jewish household in New York City on May 21, 1960. He is the son of Jerome Toobin, a news broadcasting producer, and Marlene Sanders, a former ABC, and CBS News correspondent.

Jeffrey Toobin went to Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York City, which is a private preparatory school. He then went to Harvard College for his undergraduate education, where he worked as a sports reporter for The Harvard Crimson.

Personal Life of Jeffrey Toobin

Jeffrey Toobin is happily married to Amy Bennett McIntosh, his longtime lover. On May 31, 1986, the pair married. Amy graduated from Harvard in 1980 and went on to work for Verizon and Zagat Survey after earning her MBA from Harvard Business School. While working for the Harvard Crimson, the two met for the first time.
