On November 17, 1997, Kim Yugyeom was born. Kim is a 23-year-old South Korean singer from Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province. In an interview, he revealed that he was conceived in Saudi Arabia and born in South Korea.

Yugyeom moved to Namyangju with his family, where he grew up with his older brother.
