Kristaps Porzingis is a professional basketball player from Latvia who currently plays for the NBA’s New York Knicks (National Basketball Association). Kristaps agreed and signed a rookie-scale contract with the Knicks on July 30, 2015.

Early Childhood Development and Education

Kristaps Porzingis was born in Liepaja, Latvia, on August 2, 1995. He began playing basketball at the age of six, following his parents’ instructions. He is of Caucasian ancestry and Latvian nationality.
