Laroyce Hawkins and His Secret Girlfriend Have a 3-Year-Old Child.

Laroyce Hawkins

LaRoyce Hawkins is usually tight-lipped about his private dating life and relationships, so the news that he is a father caught many fans off guard. Never mind the fans; even the actor was taken aback when he first learned of the good news. Despite the initial surprise, the Chicago P.D. actor has embraced fatherhood and is enjoying his new role.

Laroyce Hawkins Relationship

Focusing on a Serious Relationship Hawkins has always had a relaxed attitude toward romantic relationships. He once stated that he did not want to get married or have a wife. The majority of his older tweets from 2013 show his somewhat opposing views on marriage. Although the tweet may have been a joke, it provided information about the actor’s relationships, or lack thereof.

Hawkins has also never been open about his dating life, only dropping hints. Fortunately, the beloved TV personality has grown wiser over the years, preferring a stable relationship to his previous short, ‘no strings attached’ indulgence.
When asked about his dating life in a 2016 interview with Rolling Out, he revealed he was in a relationship. He also admitted to maturing and stated that he preferred to be with one person rather than on multiple dates.

Parents of a Son and a Baby Mama

The 32-year-old is still unmarried, but he has already become a father. Because Laroyce Hawkins prefers to keep his personal life away from prying eyes in the media, little is known about his son’s mother. The rising star posted nothing on social media that even hinted at a potential love interest. But the actor doesn’t mind showing off his adorable three-year-old son, Roman John (Ro), on social media. Fans have grown accustomed to seeing young Ro and his exploits all over his star daddy’s social media handle, but the news came as a bit of a surprise at first.

During a 2019 interview, his co-star Patrick John Flueger summed it up perfectly, saying that learning about Hawkins’ son was “weird.” In the same interview, Hawkins shared the screen with Flueger and echoed some of his colleague’s sentiments, calling it “weird, but dope.”
While filming, the Chicago P.D. star learned of his child’s birth and was later driven to Rockford Hospital by fellow actors to meet his newborn son. The actor has not revealed anything about his child’s mother. Pictures of Ro, on the other hand, can be found on the Instagram account of a woman named BT Anderson.

Anderson shared a sweet photo of Ro on his second birthday, April 19, 2019. Anderson then gave the caption the title, “Thank you so much for all of your birthday wishes! It was unquestionably one of TWO to remember “with the special hashtag ‘HeGetsThatFromHisDaddy.’.  Her Instagram posts about their son, as well as her Facebook support for Hawkins’ work, suggest that BT Anderson is Hawkins’ current girlfriend. Having said that, neither of them has ever made their relationship public. Despite this, Hawkins enjoys raising his son. While young Ro is still a toddler, the proud father already believes that he will outdo him. He become  a better, more refined version of himself, as he shared in an August 12, 2019 post.

Dating Rumors With Chicago P.D. Co-Star

The Chicago P.D. hunk was rumored to be dating his co-star Lisseth Chavez, who played Vanessa Rojas, Hawkins’ character Kevin Atwater’s love interest. The on-screen couple even had their own Instagram handle called RoWater, which was derived from their characters’ names. They had fantastic chemistry on the show until she left in 2020. On May 4, 2020, Lisseth posted a silly photo of herself with Hawkins on Instagram, wishing him a happy birthday and thanking him for always having her back. It is the closest thing to public affection that either of them has shown. They’ve never confirmed or denied any rumors about their alleged romantic relationship.
