Lauren Shehadi, an American sportscaster, had kept her personal life a secret until one day, unintentionally, she spilled the beans, and fans finally connected the dots.

She currently co-hosts MLB Central with Mark DeRosa, a 16-year MLB veteran turned sports contributor, and American sports journalist Robert Flores. The show features the most recent baseball news, in-depth analysis with baseball-related guests, and entertaining on-field highlights. The 35-year-old Virginia native rose to prominence as a sportscaster for the Major League Baseball (MLB) network. She has spent the last seven years of her career hosting and reporting for Major League Baseball. Her skilled reporting and omnipresent appeal have earned her a fan-favorite status among the network’s audiences. That’s why, in 2010, she was nominated for Playboy’s ‘Sexiest Sportscaster’ contest, alongside Molly Sullivan, Bonnie Bernstein, Charissa Thompson, and Erin Andrews.

On May 23, 1983, in McLean, Virginia, the MLB sportscaster was born. Her ethnic background  mixed: half Lebanese and half American. In 2013, she revealed on Twitter in response to a fan’s question that her surname was derived from Lebanon. Langley High School awarded her a high school diploma in 2001. She attended the University of Florida after graduating. There, she  introduced to the world of sports media.

Shehadi hosted the online web show GatorZone while in college, where she covered the University of Florida’s football team, the Florida Gators. It wasn’t her college that pushed her to become a sportscaster. She, destined for a career in sports from a young age. She fell in love with baseball when she was 12 years old.

Lauren Discovers Her True Home at MLB Network Before joining MLB Network in 2012, the University of Florida worked as a weekend sports anchor for KXMC-TV in Minot, North Dakota. Cynthia Frelund, NFL Network Reporter, is another sportscaster. She also contributed to the prestigious network’s coverage of the 2011 College World Series Home Run Derby in Omaha. Prior to joining CBS, she worked as a producer at SNN-Channel 6 in Sarasota, Florida, and behind-the-scenes at Comcast Sportsnet Washington. She  paired with Matt Yallof as the host of The Rundown on MLB Network. Later, in 2015, American sports broadcaster Kelly Nash took over as host of the show. In January 2018, she hosted The Podium, a podcast produced by NBC Sports Group and Vox Media. That covered the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Lauren’s fans have been discussing her love life for years, despite the fact that she has been notoriously private about her private affairs. However, the MLB sportscaster has yet to comment on the rumors, making her fans even more concerned. She did, however, make it clear that she was engaged. Even after three months of speculation due to the engagement ring, she wore  the same ring on her engagement finger.
The ring was spotted again on May 23 when she posted a video on Instagram interviewing New York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton. Aside from this, she has a couple of other videos on her Instagram wall where she shows off her engagement ring. Whether she’s married or engaged, one thing is certain: her partner will be the envy of baseball fans all over the world, and rightly so. Unless she keeps her relationship status, whether with a fiancé, boyfriend, or husband, a secret from them.
