Lil Duval is a stand-up comedian from the United States who is best known for being a finalist on BET’s comedy competition series Coming To The Stage in 2005.

Early childhood development and education

Roland Powell, better known as Lil Duval, was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, on June 12, 1977. To pay homage to his birthplace of Duval County, Florida, he adopted the stage name “Lil Duval.” Powell went to First Coast High School, and after graduating, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Rolanda is his younger sister.

Career

After graduating from high school, he moved to Atlanta and began working in the comedy scene, performing as a stand-up comedian at the Atlanta institution, Uptown Comedy Corner, where he became a regular performer.

Duval was encouraged by Cedric Entertainer’s road manager after his outstanding performance at the Oakland Bay Area Competition in 2001. Later, he was invited to join Cedric and four other comedians on the Budweiser Comedy Tour. Cedric the Entertainer asked Lil Duval to help him with his television special Cedric the Entertainer: Starting Lineup.

He has also appeared in a number of films, including the underground comedy DVD Dat Boy Funny, which featured a number of up-and-coming comedians performing colorful sketch pieces and parodies mocking current events in pop culture.

Duval became a regular feature performer on three seasons of BET’s ComicView the following year. In 2005, he released his second DVD, Put Your Hands On Me. Choice II: The Setup, an independent film by Three 6’s Mafia, which was released the same year.

Duval is best known for starting the #itaintrape trend on Snapchat and Twitter, which has grown in popularity since then. “#itaintrape if u naked of Yo Twitter profile pic,” Duval tweeted in 2010, “#itaintrape if I’m paying child support.”

“Wat Dat Mouf Do?” is another term coined by Lil Duval. He released his first solo single and music video, “Wat Dat Mouf Do?” on April 1, 2014.

Personal Life

Lil Duval’s current relationship status has yet to be revealed in his personal life. An insider recently claimed that Duval broke his baby mother’s (ex-wife) windows while she was at work. When Mr. Duval broke her window, Duval’s baby mother worked as a store manager.

She returned to work, terrified, and told one of the other managers that Lil Duval had broken it. She even claimed they had been separated for several months. He stands 1.57 meters tall and weighs 130 pounds.
