Stars for “Love It or List It” Since 2008, Hilary Farr and David Visentin have been renovating and listing homes on their HGTV show. Hundreds of homes in Ontario and North Carolina have received a new look during their decade-plus journey together.

The first six seasons of Love It or List It were shot in Ontario, while the remaining seasons were shot in North Carolina. After more than eight years of filming in the United States.

Visentin and Farr

Visentin and Farr are returning to Canada to film the upcoming season in the Greater Toronto Area. The show’s Twitter page had invited interested people to join the casting auditions for their new season back in January 2021. The show listed five requirements that a person must meet in order to be a part of it. Despite the fact that filming began in May 2021, the show invited more fans to apply for the casting call a month later.

Over the years, Farr and Visentin’s Love It or List It has become one of HGTV’s most popular shows. And the chemistry between Farr and Visentin adds to the enjoyment. Their banter is always entertaining, and their opposing roles of Farr attempting to persuade their clients to keep their home and Visentin pressuring them to sell it add to the show’s watch value. Given how well Farr and Visentin complement each other, it’s not surprising that many viewers believe the two knew each other long before filming began, but this is not the case. They only met during their audition for the HGTV show.

Farr was cast before Visentin, and the real estate agent recalled how the producers thought he and Farr would make a great team. The co-stars have formed an unbreakable bond over the years and are best friends. Visentin mentioned that he and Farr had a lot of fun together, which is why he thought people liked watching them. Farr also stated that the two adored each other and frequently made each other laugh.

What happened to them?

Farr and Visentin live a very different life than what depicted in the show when they are not busy filming Love It or List It. Aside from the HGTV show, Farr has had a few acting roles, including playing the villain in Ross Petty Productions’ production of Sleeping Beauty. Farr had lived in several countries before starting her career as a home designer, including Australia, California, England, and New York. She and her ex-husband Gordon Farr have one son. She also has a large number of grandchildren.

Visentin currently resides in Barrie, Ontario, with his wife Krista Visentin and their son Logan Visentin. He has been a real estate agent since 1987, and according to his HGTV bio, he is a top agent in Southern Ontario’s brisk real estate market.
