Lynette was born on December 17, 1966, in New York, USA, as Aryeh Judah Schoen Nusbacher, the child of Wayne Maines and his wife Kelly; she has a twin brother, Jonas Maines. Lynette dedicated her life to education; after graduating from high school, she enrolled at the University of Toronto, where she studied history and economics. She continued her education at the Royal Military College of Canada, where she earned a master’s degree in War Studies.

Lynette Nusbacher also received a Doctor of Philosophy in Modern History from the University of Oxford. She was also a student at Cranfield University’s National School of Government, where she completed short programs in Organizational Leadership.

Career

Lynette began her career as an administrator at the University of Toronto in 1988. She held the position until 1994 when she was assigned to the Canadian Armed Forces as a Logistics Officer. She stayed there for the next six years before leaving.
