Mark Sheppard, the son of actor W. Morgan Sheppard, is best known for playing Crowley, the demon in the hit supernatural drama series Supernatural. On the 30th of May, 1964, he was born in England to W. Morgan Sheppard and his wife. He is also noted for playing the younger and older versions of the same character in multiple movies alongside his father.

Early Life

Mark is of Irish-German descent and was born in London, England. He started interested in music at the age of 15 and went on to become a professional musician. He traveled with bands such as Television Personalities and Light a Big Fire, reacting to a number of songs. Sheppard auditioned for Cock and Bull Story after relocating to the United States and received the 1992 L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award, as well as the LA Weekly and Dramalogue Awards for his performance.

Career

He has been in The X-Files, Soldier of Fortune, and many other television shows, including The Invisible Man, The Practice, Special Unit 2, The Chronicle, JAG, Star Trek: Voyager, Monk, White Collar, CSI, and Chuck. He also appeared in the TV show Charmed. Acting as Joss Whedon on Dollhouse and the same character on Firefly are among his other credits. He’s also appeared in 24 and Medium as a villain. Acting roles on television include The Middleman, Bionic Woman, Doctor Who, and Battlestar Galactica. He began portraying the demon Crowley on Supernatural in 2005 and has continued to do so until now. In the Name of the Father, Unstoppable, Broken, New Alcatraz, and Megalodon are among his film credits. Mysterious Island was also directed by him.

Mark is a married man in terms of his personal life. He was previously married to Jessica. On March 6, 2004, the pair married after falling in love. The pair had marital troubles and split in 2014 after having two children named Max and William together. He began having an affair with Sarah Louise Fudge after his divorce. Sarah, an Australian mining heiress, met him at a Supernatural convention. He proposed to his fiancée on August 20, 2015, after they fell in love, and they were engaged. On September 26, 2015, they revealed that they were expecting their first child. Their baby, a girl, is due to arrive in March of 2016. The pair married on November 9th in Denver, Colorado, following this announcement. They appear to be getting along fine, and there is no talk of divorce or marital problems.
