Mavado is a Jamaican dancehall artist who grew up in Kingston’s Cassava Piece neighborhood. In 2005, he made his debut with “Real McKoy,” his first single. In 2010, he appeared in a music video for Drake’s song “Find Your Love” as a mobster. He is also signed to We the Best Music Group and previously to Cash Money Records. In 2018, he worked with Sean Paul on an uplifting song called “I’m Sanctify,” and in 2020, he recorded and released “Enemy Line,” a Drake diss song.
