She left the station in August 2012 and began working for The Arizona Republic as their breaking news reporter. At the same time, she was an intern and e-journalist for the “RightThisMinute” TV program.

By May 2013, she had left both of those positions and joined the CNN HLN and InSession team as a production assistant. She lasted with them for just one month before switching to Cronkite News as a producer, where she stayed for just five months in total.
