Guingamp, and his group, confirmed his death in a statement that read, “The club was in excruciating pain this evening after learning of Nathael Julan’s untimely death.”

“On this tragic day, all members of the club express their condolences to Nathael’s family.”

Ligue 1 also paid tribute to the player, saying, “We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the families of Nathal Julan and Guingamp.”

Unfortunately, there is no word on when or where the funeral will take place. Furthermore, his family has yet to discuss his memorial service.

Professional Career

Nathael began his professional career on June 30, 2016, when he signed with Le Havre. He played for Guingamp in 2018. He signed a contract with Ligue 2 club Valenciennes until the end of the season on January 10, 2019.

In 2018-19, the French footballer has played in every season of Ligue 1, as well as three cup rivalries. He played for Valenciennes in his final days before returning to Guingamp in 2019.
