Pete Evans Controversies

Due to his advocacy of conspiracy theories and complementary therapies, Pete Evans has emerged as one of Australia’s most divisive people. As a result, government health authorities have fined and penalized him.

He has become a fervent supporter of Paleo diets and suggested that it could prevent autism in 2014. He co-authored a book in 2015 called “Bubba Yum Yum: The Paleo Way for New Mums, Babies, and Toddlers” that included Paleo recipes that were criticized by doctors as possibly fatal.

About uploading and disseminating false material and highly dubious medical advice, Pete has a checkered history with the social media behemoth. Doctors were once more denouncing him in 2016 when he suggested that a person with osteoporosis quit consuming dairy products. Additionally, he claimed to be knowledgeable about calcium in a way that other doctors were not.

He advocated foregoing sunscreen in 2018 in favor of staring directly into the sun at sunrise and during sunset. One of the riskiest pieces of medical advice he has ever given is to not wear sunscreen because skin cancer is one of the top causes of early mortality in Australia.
