Relationships with Daniel Negreanu in the Past

Negreanu has dated a number of ladies in the past. He was not only dating, but he was also married for a short period of time.

Lori Lin Weber, a Michigan girl, was his first and only wife. He and Lori divorced less than two years after their wedding.

Negreanu wrote a blog post in November 2007 about the reasons for his divorce from his wife. He wished he hadn’t tried to turn Lori into someone she wasn’t. He also claimed that the divorce was the appropriate decision for him and Lori because they were still good friends, despite his wrongdoing.

After his marriage fell apart, Negreanu began dating Evelyn Ng, a fellow professional poker player. He also dated Krisztina Polgar, a Hungarian beauty queen. The connection, however, did not proceed any further.

Rather, it was revealed in 2014 that he was dating Marissa Rachelle Rodney, a stylist at Royal Tease Hair and Makeup in Las Vegas.

The couple met the previous year at a welfare charity event. They continued their relationship by celebrating Valentine’s Day in Las Vegas in 2018. They even documented the lovely moment on Instagram. Negreanu’s girlfriend said it was the finest Valentine’s Day she had ever experienced.

Their relationship, however, came to an end quickly, with Negreanu announcing the split on his blog in late June 2018. He mentioned incompatibility in their relationship as the cause of their breakup.

Ex-Girlfriend Reconnects and Marries Her

Prior to his romance with Marissa Rachelle Rodney, Negreanu dated Amanda Leatherman, a poker hostess.

Their relationship didn’t work out at the time, so they split up. In an interview with the Swedish newspaper Spportbladet Poker in 2014, the poker champion even admitted to having a crisis following the break-up.

The break-up, on the other hand, only served to strengthen their friendship. In 2018, Negreanu reconnected with Amanda and the two began dating. Thankfully, the Toronto native didn’t waste any time this time and proposed to Leatherman on one knee in January 2019.

On May 17, 2019, four months after their engagement, the couple married at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. For the event, Negreanu wore a blue suit and his wife wore a V-neck lace-pattern white bridal gown.
