Sabrina Lloyd was born on November 20, 1970, in Fairfax County, Virginia, USA, and is best known for her television work. She appeared in the science fiction series “Sliders,” where she played Wade Welles, and in the sitcom “Sports Night,” where she played Natalie Hurley.

Early Life

Sabrina grew up in Eustis, Florida, and had her first acting opportunity at the age of 13 when she joined the cast of “Annie,” a musical based on the popular comic strip “Little Orphan Annie” that has been produced in numerous countries. She joined a student exchange program two years later that sent her to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, where she stayed for a year and trained at the Brisbane Royal Theatre Company, continuing to perform in theatre until she was 18 years old.

Career

After returning to the United States, she concentrated on local theater projects, appearing in productions of “The Wizard of Oz,” “Grease,” and “Crimes of the Heart.” She then relocated to New York in the hopes of launching a career in film and television; one of her first television appearances was as a guest on the show “Law & Order,” after which she signed with a new talent agent to gain more roles in films and television.

Her popularity and net worth increased significantly after appearing in the film “Chain of Desire,” when she had a starring role in the film “Father Hood,” which also starred Patrick Swayze; it is a comedy-drama film directed by Darrell Roodt, and also starred Halle Berry. Lloyd then appeared in the music video for The Breeders’ song “Iris,” but he continues to appear on television, primarily as a part of movies. She appeared in an episode of “Lifestories: Families in Crisis,” an HBO television series that focuses on issues affecting young adults and teenagers.

In 1995, she was cast as one of the four original characters in the science fiction television show “Sliders,”. While the show was popular, it also had its share of issues.
