Sundy Carter is an actress and reality television personality who was born on March 30, 1972, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. She is best known for her role in “State Property.” “Soul Plane” and “Basketball Wives” are two other projects she’s worked on.

Early Life

Sundy’s childhood is unknown, but she grew up in Philadelphia and discovered her interest in acting there. After graduating from high school, she enrolled at Temple University as a drama major in the hopes of pursuing a career in the industry. She continued her education with Freedom Theatre after finishing her studies.

She made her professional debut in 2002 with the film “State Property,” starring Beanie Sigel, Omilio Sparks, and Memphis Bleek, with a cameo appearance by rapper Jay-Z, about the Philadelphia drug trade from the 1980s to the 1990s and loosely based on ‘drug lord’ Aaron Jones. Three years later, she reprised her role in the sequel “State Property 2,” alongside Kanye West, Cam’ron, and the Diplomats. The film also marked the last appearance of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, who died of a drug overdose shortly after filming. Her next project was the film “Soul Plane,” which, despite starring high-profile actors like Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg, received negative reviews and performed poorly at the box office.

Carter also appeared in the film “Bringing Down the House,” starring Steve Martin, and went on to star in several low-budget independent films. Her popularity grew to the point where she was featured in several magazines, including “Style Q” and “Solid Gold.” She also appeared in music videos for artists such as Method Man, Busta Rhymes, and Tamar Braxton, with whom she has collaborated on films.

She has also appeared in several Lifetime Original movie projects and had a minor role in the horror film “Mother’s Day,” a loose remake of the 1980 film of the same name. During the second season of the reality show “Basketball Wives LA,” she began as a guest before becoming a main character the following season, in a series which The show focuses on the lives of girlfriends or wives, or people who have been romantically linked to professional basketball players in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The show is a spin-off of “Basketball Wives,” and when the original series ended, “Basketball Wives LA” was renamed to be the same as the original.

Net Worth

Sources estimate her net worth at $150,000 as of late 2018, earned primarily through her television career. She has also appeared in theatrical works and has contributed to several charitable causes throughout her career. It is expected that her wealth will increase as she continues her endeavors.

Relationship Status

Sundy was married to actor Cedric Carter, who is best known for his work in the film “Crime Partners”; they had two children together, both of whom are aspiring musicians. One of their children is friends with actress Zendaya, and another regularly posts on YouTube. However, their marriage ended in divorce, and she began dating professional basketball player Larry Hughes in 2005. Larry was the eighth overall pick in the 1998 NBA draft and played in the league for 14 years.

However, their relationship was contentious because they became romantically involved while he was still married, and they had a child together, though it was reported that Hughes did not initially take responsibility for the child. He later changed his mind and admitted that the child was his daughter. There have been no new relationships reported since their breakup, though there was a rumor that Sundy was dating Miles Brock, which was later denied.

Social Media

Carter, like many other television personalities, is very active on social media, particularly on the website Instagram, where she posts a few personal photos while also promoting her recent business ventures. Her most recent project is the Wicked Beauty clothing line, which features a variety of whole body attire, most of which she models. She made headlines in 2018 after a sex tape of her and a friend was leaked online. Sundy Carter defended herself by claiming that she was drunk at the time and had been drugged by a former friend. She identified the man as Meechie Hoe, who later defended himself online after Carter accused him of attempting to sabotage her career.
