She was born Suzanne Rossell Cryer on January 13, 1967, in Rochester, New York State, USA, and is best known to the world as Ashley Walker in the TV comedy series “Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place” (1998-2001), and as Laurie Bream in another sitcom – “Silicon Valley” (2015-2018). In 1997, she appeared as a guest star on the sitcom “Seinfeld.”

She attended Greenwich High School in Greenwich, Connecticut, and graduated in 1984. She then enrolled at Yale University, where she earned a degree in English Literature. Her studies did not stop there; she went on to get a master’s degree from the Yale School of Drama.

Career 

Suzanne was a member of the Utah Shakespeare Festival while attending Yale School of Drama, playing Rosalind in “As You Like It” and Anne in “Richard III.” She thereafter stayed on stage in other productions until 1992, when she made her movie debut as Sandy in the TV crime drama series “Law & Order.” Suzanne didn’t have much success in her early career, with several single episode guest appearances in TV shows, before appearing in “Seinfeld” in 1997, which pushed her just enough to land her first significant role, as Ashley Walker in the TV series “Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place” (1998-2001). During this time, Suzanne found success in several other ventures, notably the 1999 film “Friends & Lovers.”
Suzanne was at the pinnacle of her career in the late 1990s and early 2000s, but her career has subsequently dwindled, with no noteworthy roles available until the mid-2010s. She did, however, make several one-time appearances in TV shows such as “Bones” and “CSI: Miami” in 2006, followed by “Desperate Housewives” (2007), “The Starter Wife” in 2008, and “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” in 2011.

Suzanne’s career began to re-develop in 2013, when she was chosen for the recurring role of Jenna Paul in the TV series “The Fosters” (2013-2018), and concurrently in 2015, she was chosen for the part of Laurie Bream in the highly-acclaimed series “Silicon Valley” (2015-2018) and is now working on several projects, including the drama film “Regarding the Case of Joan of Arc,” scheduled for release late in 2018, and co-starring Lili Bordan and Guinevere
