Tamsen Fadal is a journalist, novelist, television personality, and entrepreneur from the United States. She anchors PIX11 News, Tribune’s flagship station in New York City, at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m. She was born on December 4, 1970, in Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States. Her ethnicity is white Lebanese and her nationality is American. She was the anchor of the PIX11 Morning News in New York City before anchoring the 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm broadcasts. Fadal is currently the executive producer and host of Broadway Profiles, a nationally syndicated show.

Education

Fadal began his broadcasting career as a morning anchor for WHNZ radio in Tampa, Florida, shortly after graduating from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors of Arts degree in journalism in 1992. She went to Afghanistan alongside American troops in 2002 to report on the war. During Operation Enduring Freedom, she was also dispatched to Air Force facilities in London and Germany to report on local personnel.

Career

Fadal has worked for WPGH-TV in Pittsburgh, WFTV in Orlando, WOWK-TV in Charleston, West Virginia, and KYW-TV in Philadelphia, among other stations. She focuses on investigative reporting. Fadal began her career at WCBS in New York City before moving to WPIX on March 24, 2008, where she continues to work to this day. She used to work as a reporter for the morning news, covering both breaking and feature topics.
Fadal co-starred in the Lifetime TV docuseries “Matched in Manhattan” in 2009. She acted as a relationship counselor as well as a stylist. In 2010, she also had the opportunity to co-host the wedding show “Say I Do, NYC” and the web show “On The White Carpet” for NYC.gov.

She’s also appeared on Better, Good Morning America, The Today Show, The CBS Early Show, The Nate Berkus Show, and The Tyra Banks Show, among others. She is also the author of three books published by St. Martin’s Press: “Why Hasn’t He Called?” “Why Hasn’t He Proposed?” and “The New Single.”

She won an Emmy for On-Camera Achievement in 2016 and three Emmys in 2017 for Breaking News Metro-North Train Derailment, Arts: Documentary. Fadal is known for her beauty and gorgeous physique in addition to being a journalist. She is of Lebanese descent but was born and reared in Concord, Massachusetts, in the United States. Her mother died of breast cancer in 1990, thus she has been actively fighting the disease since then. She is still a participant in the Avon 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer.
