Tate Martell supporters blamed Instagram model Kiki Passo for his unexpected departure from the University of Miami.

Tate Martell’s supporters were disappointed to learn in November 2019 that the American football quarterback had taken an unexplained leave of absence from the University of Miami.

As word spread, many cast fingers at his girlfriend at the time, Instagram model Kiki Passo, accusing her of being the basis for his second vacation from the university.

Not only the admirers but also Martell’s mother, Tafi Martell, attacked the Brazilian model on Twitter, accusing her of being a cruel person. Tafi said in another tweet that her son had not spoken to her in weeks.

Martell and Passo don’t appear to be together right now. And all of the photos of the two of them together have been removed from their Instagram accounts.

Furthermore, the model has been seen on social media having intimate moments with tennis star Tommy Paul, implying that her romance with the 23-year-old footballer is gone.

Passo threw her arms around Paul and kissed him on the cheeks in an Instagram image from January 2021. Paul kissed her as she sat on his lap in another photo from the same post.

Martell, on the other hand, hasn’t been seen with any woman recently. His Instagram photos indicate that he has been concentrating more on his training and game than on anything else.

He stated in an Instagram video that he aspires to be the person that everyone wants him to be, including his family, friends, city, and team.

Twitter Uprising

Martell’s mother tweeted on November 28, 2019, a few days before he announced his unavailability for the University of Miami, that Passo was a cruel person. On December 3, Tafi turned to Twitter once more, pleading for anyone to help her son contact his family because he hadn’t spoken to them in a long time.

Following Tafi’s social media post, various sources and Martell’s admirers began tagging Passo. Speculating that she was the reason for his absence. As one fan put it, “It’s a pity if this young lady encourages him to skip football. He had spent his entire life preparing for this moment. I’m hoping everything works out in the end.”

That fan’s tweet did soon responded to by Passo. She said that all of the rumors were false. And she instead encouraged him to keep going after Martell had already lost his job. He also stated that she “wholeheartedly” believed in him and saw him as having a bright future.

Meanwhile, a sports and entertainment publication, Busted Coverage, added a thread to the model’s tweet. Requesting that they clear the air about their breakup. The source wrote on Twitter, “Is there a grudge between you and Mrs. Martell, Kiki? If at all possible, clear the air.”
