Redd initially signed with Strainge Entertainment, which eventually transferred him to Elliot Grainge Entertainment. His first mixtape, “A Love Letter to You,” was released in 2017, and its lead tune, “Love Scars,” gained popularity on platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud.

He also contributed to the XXXTentacion single “Fuck Love,” which peaked at number 41 on the Billboard Hot 100. Later on in the year, Redd released a second mixtape named “A Love Letter to You II,” which made its Billboard 200 debut at position 34.


Rapper 6ix9ine, with whom Trippie has previously worked, and is known to be at odds. He asserted that 6ix9ine was a child molester.

This caused an assault on him while he was in a hotel. After 6ix9ine’s attack at the Los Angeles Airport, the two continued to abuse each other online. Trippe also claimed that 6ix9ine and Danielle Bregoli, a.k.a. Bhad Bhabie, had sex. Bregoli then refuted this claim in an Instagram post by saying that they had simply kissed.
