Jamie Siminoff is an entrepreneur, innovator, and inventor who has built a profitable business. He is the brains of the wildly popular product Doorbot, which is now known as Ring.

The developer of the Ring doorbell eventually sold the company to Amazon for a billion dollars, boosting his net worth significantly.

Siminoff, on the other hand, attributes his success to his wife, whom he met in Los Angeles. Erin Lindsey, now Erin Siminoff, was at his side throughout his quest for success. He’s been married to Erin since before the product’s inception.

Jamie Siminoff’s wife pushed him to go after the ring

Jamie attributes the success of Ring LLC, particularly the Ring doorbell product, to his wife. Siminoff remarked on the Ring official website that the Wi-Fi-enabled doorbell would never exist if it weren’t for his wife, Erin – the invention had failed to satisfy the Shark Tank judges in its fifth season.

The 44-year-old went on to say that she had heard all of his ideas and was delighted when he mentioned the doorbell. She liked how easy it was to answer the front door from afar and how secure it made her feel. It was “like caller-ID for the front door,” as she put it.

Erin had not only inspired Jamie to follow the idea, but she had also sown it in him. Siminoff never seemed to hear the doorbell, she always complained.

He came up with the concept of using Wi-Fi to connect the doorbell to the phone to fix the problem. His solution quickly became well-known. Erin stood by her husband and his beliefs even after he broke ground.
Despite being quiet on social media, she marketed Ring items on her Facebook page. She shared a post from Ring’s official Facebook account in early 2015 and used the captions to convey her admiration for Jamie and the rest of the Ring team, whom she referred to as “ringers.”
