Willie started his career as a cornerback for the Oakland Looters in 1967, after previously playing for the Horses.
He was a three-time Super Bowl champion, a four-time Master Bowl champion, a three-time First-group AFL champion, and a three-time Second-group All-AFL champion during his career.
From 1970 to 1988, he worked as a Cautious Backs mentor for the Oakland Looters. He even coached at Long Beach State and Jordan High School. He was the Oakland Thieves’ Head of Staff Advancement from 1995 to 2019.
